Carlos Tenente was born on May 1, 1965, in Lisbon.
From an early age he showed interest in Photography and , still a student, started as an amateur, its activity in the art of photography, in the already distant era of the analog machines, with 35mm film, with which performed several works of research and innovation.
However, the many duties of a full professional life, led him to have to put a little aside, his passion for photography.
In recent years, in modern digital photography, he returned to devote himself more assiduously to this art, performing works in polychromatic as well as in monochrome, always trying to give an innovative slant to their work.
The themes covered by him are very diverse, not fixing himself to a single theme, but directing his attention to all the subjects that arouse in him the art, trying to create a fresh look at any subject or theme.
Carlos Tenente nasceu a 1 de Maio de 1965, em Lisboa.
Desde cedo mostrou interesse pela Fotografia e ainda estudante, iniciou, como amador, a sua actividade na arte de fotografar, na já longínqua época das máquinas analógicas, com película de 35mm, com as quais realizou diversos trabalhos de pesquisa e inovação.
No entanto, os muitos afazeres de uma vida profissional cheia, levaram-no a ter de colocar um pouco de lado a sua paixão pela fotografia.
Nos últimos anos, já na moderna fotografia digital, voltou a dedicar-se com mais assiduidade a esta arte, realizando trabalhos tanto em policromático, como em monocromático, procurando sempre dar um cunho inovador aos seus trabalhos.
As temáticas abordadas são muito diversas, não se prendendo a um só tema, uma vez que dirige a sua atenção para todos os motivos que despertem nele arte, de modo a criar um novo olhar sobre esse assunto ou tema.
